In February, 2014 I underwent surgery to have my poor worn and ‘tired’ knees replaced. Both knees at the same time, which was brave of me, however after just three weeks I had thrown away my crutches and started walking again; at first just twenty minutes at a time but within just a few weeks I was walking up to four hours each day. I also began ‘weight’ training again. Ten months later I my weight had plummeted from 106 kg to 83 kg. I had also regained my former level of aerobic fitness as well as again having a lean and muscular body.
